Spell
By Marie Digby
A C# F#m D
Spotlight shining brightly on my face
A C#
I can see you thinking
F#m D
Yet I feel you looking my way
A D
Empty stage
A D
With nothing but this girl
C# F#m
Who's singing a simple melody
B E
and wearing her heart on her sleeve
C# D
And right now
F#m C#
I have you
F#m E D
For a moment I can tell I've got to
A
Cause your lips don't move
C#
And something is happening
F#m E D
Cause your eyes tell me the truth
Dm A
I've put a spell over you
(fill)
A C# F#m D
A C# F#m D
Beauty emanates from every word that you say
A C# F#m D
You capture the deepest thoughts in the purest simplest of ways
but you see
A D
I'm not that graceful like you
A D
Nor am I as eloquent
C# F#m B E
But just a simple melody can change the way that you see me
C# D
And right now
F#m C#
I have you
F#m E D
For a moment I can tell that I've got to
A
Cause your lips don't move
C#
Something is happening
F#m E D
Cause your eyes tell me the truth
Dm A
I've put a spell over you
C# F#m F#m/E
D C# F#m
And all my life I stumble, but here I am
D
Just perfect
E C#
Perfect as I'll ever be
D
Oh oh
F#m C#
I have you
F#m E D
For a moment I can tell I've got to
A
cause your lips don't move
C#
And something is happening
F#m E D
cause your eyes tell me the truth
Dm A
I've put a spell over you

Not a bad tab a couple corrections though both within a few lines of each other the first one is right before the short
C# F#m F#m/E interlude the line "I've put a spell over you" you have tabbed as Dm to A in on that line it is actually Dm
to D the second error is a few lines down on the line "Perfect as I'll ever be" you have it tabbed as E to C# the chord
progression there is actually B to C# otherwise good work.

@Chesneywormbot
The Dm to A in the verse sounds right but yes changing the A to D sounds better on the second.
Also in the bridge "but here I am just perfect" the D sounds better as an F#m/E
