I don't trust the books... My teacher took a listen to it and it seems that its a blues scale played hypersonically fast. I don't tab so I can't really give a good example but first string 16-17-13 then second string 15 (repeat) first string 16-17-13 then 2nd string 14 (repeat) then first string 17-18-13 then 2nd string 15 again, then chromatic doohikey bit, then repeat again and add a higher chromatic bit. Done, sounds better to me and the live video seems to support that one too.
