[Verse 1]
Em C D G
Father can you hear me?
G C Em D
How have I let you down?
G C D Em
I curse the day that I was born
Em C D G
And all the sorrow in this world
Em C D G
Let me take you to the hurting ground
G C Em D
Where all good men are trampled down
G C D Em
Just to settle a bet that could not be won
Em C D G
Between a prideful father and his son
Em C D G
Will you guide me now, for I can't see
G C Em D
A reason for the suffering and this long misery
G C D Em
What if every living soul could be upright and strong
Em C D G
Well, then I do imagine...
[Chorus]
Em C G
There will be sorrow
Em C G
Yeah there will be sorrow
Em C G Em D G
And there will be sorrow, no more
[Verse 2]
Em C D G
When all soldiers lay their weapons down
G C Em D
Or when all kings and all queens relinquish their crowns
G C D Em
Or when the only true messiah rescues us from ourselves
Em C D G
It's easy to imagine...
[Chorus]
Em C G
There will be sorrow
Em C G
Yeah there will be sorrow
Em C G Em D G
And there will be sorrow, no more
solo (same as verse)
Em C G
There will be sorrow
Em C G
Yeah there will be sorrow
Em C G Em D G
And there will be sorrow, no more
Em C G
There will be sorrow
Em C G
Yeah there will be sorrow
Em C G Em D G Em
And there will be sorrow, no more

This is the most accurate of this series, nice work.
People should note that this is an acoustic version of the original chords, not the chords for the acoustic version that BR released.

For the acoustic version that Greg Graffin often plays just tanspose it up 5 half steps so it's in Am, capo the 2nd fret and you will have the right key. Also there's 2 extra chords in the chorus: The three syncopations on "There will be" is played with G C Am.
