In the Bm verses, if you are playing the Bm with a bar then you can lift your index finger and play the A open bass... You do this in the second phrase under the b minors... Like [bm] looking in their eyes [bm/a] I see a memory [G] I never realized, [E7] how happy you made me, oh [A] Mandy... This way you hear the bass run of B, A, G, E, and then A under the chords.

These chords are just right and I want to thank jbessel for noting that small change on the Bmin chord that allows for that descending bass line to come shining through nicely. Barry also modulates up one half step for the final choruses. Just slide the capo up on fret and you will be ready for the dynamic ending.
