This song has been performed by a lot of other artists who have used many different keys. I see this frequently played with a capo on the 3rd fret, especially with a female singer.On the very last line I like to strum once slowly each on the G and the Am, then VERY SLOWLY on the C sounding out each string independently, and then slowly again on the last G.

I play this song both ways with Capo and sometimes with out . I believe it sound good both ways
