NOTE: Excluding the intro, every bass note is played on the beat, so it's up to you to figure out the timing
of all the notes in the middle. I've tried to help by using spacing, but there's only so much I can do.
 
There are 3 verse sections (it plays exactly as written until about half way through the first verse) but
the rest of the song uses the same fingering so you just have to mix and match it.
 
I play chorus with chords (which can be found on other tabs), but I'm working on an alternate version with
capo on the 3rd fret that includes the chorus finger picked too.

I love Chris Cornell and hate that he's no longer with us. I would like to learn some of his songs both as a tribute to him and because they are great songs. Thank you for contributing this tab!

Kudos to that. I appreciate the start here. I think what he’s actually doing is this https://youtu.be/Id4rJswIJ50. I found this to be so much easier to play.

Pretty sure this is not how Chris is doing it. It’s hard as heck to play and you can’t get to the notes that you are hearing in the song in standard tuning. Very clear that Chris is playing in a different key to make this easier to play.
