Nice one. 😀 There's a little trick Clint Black shows in one of the yt videos I've found ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhlyAbXqOio ). He puts a capo on the 2nd fret, but in the way that the low E string is open. Chord progression actually stays, but shapes change: E becomes D shape, D becomes C shape and A becomes G shape. It's a bit easier and sounds brighter than in 1st position.

Clint Black has a video showing him playing this and he puts the Capo on the 2nd fret but only 5 bottom strings and leaves the Big E string with no capo on it and it is the correct sound for this song.
