[Verse 1]
     G C G
She tried to hide it by the faded denim clothes she wore
G A7 D7
But I knew she'd never been inside a bar before
    G C G
And I felt like a peasant who just had met a queen
G D7 G
And she knew I saw right through her tight fittin' jeans

[Verse 2]
  G C G
I asked her what's a woman like you doing here
  G A7 D7
I see you're used to champagne but I'll buy you a beer
    G C G
She said you've got me figured out but I'm not what I seem
    G D7 G
And for a dance I'll tell you about these tight fittin' jeans

[Chorus]
    D7 G
She said I married money, I'm used to wearing pearls
         C A7 D7
But I've always dreamed of being just a good ol' boy's girl
     G C G
So tonight I left those crystal candle lights to live a dream
    G D7 G
And partner, there's a tiger in these tight fittin' jeans

[Verse 3]
   G# C# G#
We danced every dance and Lord, the beer that we went through
    G# A#7 D#7
I'm satisfied I did my best to make her dream come true
       G# C# G#
As she played out her fantasy before my eyes it seemed
  G# D#7 G#
A cowgirl came alive inside those tight fittin' jeans

[Verse 4]
      G# C# G#
In my mind she's still a lady, that's all I'm gonna say
  G# A#7 D#7
I knew that I'd been broken by the time we parted ways
      G# C# G#
And I know I held more woman than most eyes have ever seen
     G# D#7 G#
That night I knew a lady wearing tight fittin' jeans

[Chorus]
      D#7 G#
Well, now she's back in her world and I'm still stuck in mine
C# A#7 D#7
But I know she'll always remember the time
  G# C# G#
A cowboy once had a millionaire's dream
    G# D#7 G#
And Lord, I loved that lady wearing tight fittin' jeans

At “we danced every dance...” I believe it jumps up to A. Otherwise, great job!

Conway's version is Capo 2. When he gets to "We danced..." he jumps a half step and I move Capo to 3. When playing along with the Ellen Lang karaoke version on Spotify, they jump 2 steps and I move Capo to 4. Always have fun.
