i personally used the tourst/anlsfn plucking pattern (which is the second string and then the two bottom strings) and for the verses i used a solid, yet slow, down-down-up-up-down-up.

when i play it, i pluck the c string, then the e string and then both the g and a string at the same time. It sounds pretty close to what Dodie's doing in my opinion.
