That's it! Pretty simple.
Alternately, you can play a 'C' though the verses with an 'F' on the 3rd line;
I play it this way to give it some variety, and to keep from getting bored while
playing it.
Hope you enjoy it!

I don't agree it should be played straight ahead C - F - C - F on the verses,instead if you want to emulate the original song from Ocean Rain its better to strum an open C chord and as that chord rings out without changing your hands positioning (on the open C chord shape) play the notes G F E
to do that as the C chord is ringing ,play the G string open followed by the note F (by using your pinkie to play the 3rd fret of the D string) then lift your pinkie up and simply strike the D string again which is already on the 2nd fret as your hand is already in the open C chord shape and that's it until you get to the chorus
everything else here is correct - tho if you are more comfortable just strumming then an Fsus2 (X-3-3-O-1-1) would be closer than a standard F imo , either way thanks for taking the time to create this, The Bunnymen were amazing while Pete was alive. sorry for the lengthy response - X6
