Yup, I agree, Ab is better than Fm in measure 12 of the chorus. The other tabs I've seen of this song missed that chord. I hear it as a straight Ab, not Ab6 (which is really the same as Fm).

Yes! The root makes all the difference. The melody in that measure (Elton's vocal "Dan-iel you're a..."), if heard without the rest of the band, simply traces a straight Fm arpeggio, but the instruments seem to play straight Ab with a strong root. Lovely harmony, typically Elton John.

I really like this version - and by tuning all strings down on whole step - playing it D major gives it a bigger sound!!!
