I find it sounds better if you just play: [tab] Main riff: A-|2---2-2-2-2-2---2-2-2-2-2-------- E-|0---0-0-0-0-0---0-0-0-0-0-------- pm_____________________ [/tab] Instead, BUT when you palm-mute it, place your hand a little further up the strings and push down a bit harder, so that it's hitting a note somewhere between E and F. Does that make sense?

Sorry, and I meant your right hand - the one doing the muting/picking - should be moved. Just to clarify :)
