Bass by Bill Gould.

This is a fairly easy song but the guitar and bass just intertwine so well..
this is the main riff, it's the funamental bass line of the song, even when
you hear the guitar
go from 5/7 on the A, this bass line still happens..
G -----------------------------------------|
D -----------------------------------------|
A -----7-7-7-----7-7-7-----7-7-7-----7-7-7-|
E -0-0-------0-0-------0-0-------0-0-------|
(just before lyrics)
G ---------------------------------|
D ---------------------------------|
A -----7-7-----7-7-----7-7-----7-7-|
E -0-0-----0-0-----0-0-----0-0-----|
parts for "it's the thing you hate, almost" and corresponding earlier parts
(section played slightly faster on the 7's)
G
---------------|--------------------------|---------------|-----------------
---------|
D
---------------|--------------------------|---------------|-----------------
---------|
A -5-------6---2-|-----7-7-7-7-(a few
times)|-5-------6---2-|-----7-7-7-7----(so on)---|
E
---------------|-0-0----------------------|---------------|-0-0-------------
---------|
interlude, for parts of "do you have something to tell me? say something,
anything"
G ----------------------------------|
D ----------------------------------|
A -7-7-7--3-3-3--1-1-1--4-4-4-------|
E ----------------------------3-3-3-|
thats all you need.. i dont think there is really anything else.
i'm sure this is PERFECT, you can alter the way you play it (play the octave
e on the D etc..
i dont care, whatever turns your crank)..

Sir, the interlude could be more easy with this frets:
G ----------------------------------|
D -2-2-2----------------------------|
A --------3-3-3--1-1-1--4-4-4-------|
E ----------------------------3-3-3-|
And remember, the scale is Fm Harmonic ;)
