....sry guys that G is just optional its not really in the song but i also just listened to the song and its an Am on the 3rd C chord of the verse.

Great stuff, heres a suggestion...I think there should be a G after the C chord on the word "Dawn" during the chorus :)

One of my absolute favorite Guster songs especially just to sit and strum on an acoustic. One very small correction; there should be a Gm chord in lines 1,2 & 4 in both verses. You're correct that the 3rd line that begins with the Am chord has a G (major), but all of the lines in the verses that being with C should have a Gm. It took me a while to find a performance where I could watch Ryan's hands clearly to confirm because I has also transcribed a G (major) in my own version and it never sounded quite right.
