I think actually works.
listen to the bass then tell me the chords switch half as fast. I thought the same thing about the pace of the chords but what happens from g minor to Eb (Major 7) is that the bass note moves down a third from G minor (which is a first inversion Eb without the root) to the Eb Major 7 chord. the second part though seems to be a D major to an F/D major. So it could be construed as a Eb for 2 beats and D for 2 beats with an altered bass note on beat 4 or It could be thought of as 4 seperate chords.
Either way what this guy wrote helped me memorize the song a lot faster. And any choices I make in how to play the song end up being neat changes that I enjoy playing.
Thanks.
