Have absolutely fallen in love with this song, thanks for putting up the chords :) But, if someone could help.. I don't think the A sounds completely right.. I'm just a beginner so I can't figure it out haha. Is there another option for a chord in its place?

Chord forms are correct but the recording is in C# major. you can transpose it until it hits C# as the first chord and play along fine with the recording. They play the barred C# major at 4th fret in the intro (and probably or the rest of the song too). You could also Capo 4th fret and transpose it to have the first chord be A major. Depends on your chord knowledge and your ability with barre chords.

The recorded version is actually capo 1 in the key of Eb. Chords are relative to capo. D-G-A for verse D-G-Bm-G for prechorus D-Bm-G-A for chorus A-Bm-G-D-A-Bm-G for bridge
