During this G there are some Hammer-ons that go a bit like this.(Not all of them are
exactly like this, but it sounds pretty close.)

[Verse]
   C G Em G
It came to the end it seems you had heard.
         C G
As we walked the city streets,
    Em G
You never said a word.
        C G
When we finally sat down
     Em G
Your eyes were full of spite.
      C G
I was desperate, I was weak
        Em G
I could not put up a fight.

[Chorus]
C G
Where are you now?
Em G
Where are you now?
       C G
Do you ever think of me
       Em G
In the quiet, in the crowd?

*(This chord progression continues through the entire song)

[Verse]
          C G
You were strangely less than pain
Em G
Than you were cold.
    C G
Triumphant in your mind
       Em G
Of the logic that you hold.
         C G
You said no one would ever know
    Em G
The love that we had shared.
     C G
As I took my leave to go
       Em G
It was clear that you didn't care.

[Chorus] x2
C G
Where are you now?
Em G
Where are you now?
       C G
Do you ever think of me
       Em G
In the quiet, in the crowd?

[Verse 3]
      C G Em G
And I hear of your coming and your going in the town.
       C G
I hear stories of your smile,
       Em G
I hear stories of your frown.
        C G
And the darkness can descend,
       Em G
We can relish all the pain.
      C G
But I know that's what you love,
          Em G
Cause you know I love the same.

[Chorus] x4
C G
Where are you now?
Em G
Where are you now?
       C G
Do you ever think of me
       Em G
In the quiet, in the crowd?

Sounds spot on. I find it's easier to transpose it up 5 half steps and play with the capo on IV. Thanks

Try playing along with the song with the capo on 7. You'd have to be tone-deaf to think that was correct. Sweet tab!

Geez everyone is so picky. Let me clear this up! In some videos on youtube Marcus Mumford plays it with the capo on the 7th fret, but the recording on the deluxe version of Babel is on the 9th fret.
