The fact that they don't actually use guitar in this song shouldn't be a criticism. It's a tab, he's not going to write it for piano so it's obviously going to be transcribed for guitar(as stated at the start of the tab). It's a great tab too.

Quite certain there is a guitar in the studio version but I could care less either way...we're here because we want to play this song on guitar, which is certainly possible. The main chords in this song would be best played in Drop D. The person who posted this tab got the notes right, just in the wrong octave (as someone previously mentioned but gave incorrect chords as a correction).
