I'm pretty sure this is what he plays live, and he finger picks it on a clean electric.
I'm not sure it exactly aligns with the recording. Enjoyh

[Verse 1]
C G
Baby went to Amsterdam
      C G
She put a little money into traveling
         Em D Bm A
Now it's so slow, so slow
C G
Baby went to Amsterdam
    C G
Four, five days for the big canal
         Em D B
Now it's so slow, so slow

[Verse 2]
          C G
And I was heading up north
      C G
To a place that I know
Em D Bm A
Eating well, sleeping well
      C G C G

Em D B Em
Amsterdam was stuck in my mind

[Chorus]
F Am G F
Oh, it's a kind of stupid rule
         Am G
That you can't ignore
F Am G F
Oh, it's a kind of natural fact
           Am G D
Sometimes you're just left to be alone

[Verse 4]
           C G
And I got to go away
     C G
To a place of my own
Em D Bm A
Working hard, fill my time
C G C G
From that day on, till I hit the bed
Em D B Em
Amsterdam was stuck in my head

These chords are excellent, and I can see why people would think the chorus is correct.. but if you listen to the bass the chorus is F Am G Oh, it's a kind of stupid groove and the last line F-Am-G-D otherwise good job!
