[Intro]
Amaj7 Emaj7

[Verse 1]
Amaj7
   Jumped down the well
            Emaj7
Found just your shell
Amaj7
   You’ll find yourself
         Emaj7
I’ll fix myself

            Amaj7
But if your sentences are short

Oh, you’ll have to clear your throat
        Emaj7
Let the devil through the door

Call yourself a young adult
           Amaj7
Seems like all the ones you lost

Were the ones you asked to stay
        Emaj7
Best to pick apart your thoughts

Before they do to you the same

[Instrumental]
Amaj7 Emaj7

[Verse 2]
A Amaj7 A
    Walk past the truth
Amaj7 E Emaj7 E Emaj7
   Don’t look for clues
A Amaj7 A
    Trust only blue
Amaj7 E Emaj7 E Emaj7
   Trust only blue

            A Amaj7
Though it’s not pleasant to feel
         A Amaj7
It’s the only thing that’s real
    E Emaj7
Any comfort you can get
       E Emaj7
Is one that you won’t regret
       A Amaj7
As the sunlight turns to dust
         A Amaj7
I’ll try to resist the rust
         E Emaj7
The only knife that doesn’t hurt
       E Emaj7
Is the knife that you don’t touch

[Chorus 1]
C#m G#/D# C#m/E E/B

C#m G#/D# C#m/E E/B

i love this! but in the beginning of chorus 1, i think the chord pattern should be c#m g# a e, not c#m g# c#m e. other than that it's perfect!
