Roy Orbison - There Won't Be Many Coming Home
[Verse 1]
C F G
Listen all you people, try and understand

You may be a soldier, woman, child or man
[Chorus]

But there won't be many comin' home

No, there won't be many comin' home
C C7 F D7
Oh, there won't be many, maybe ten out of twenty
C G C
But there won't be many comin' home
[Verse 2]

Now the old folks will remember on that dark and dismal day
C G
How their hearts were choked with pride as their children marched away
C F G
Now the glory is all gone, they are left alone
[Chorus]
C F
And there won't be many comin' home
C F
No, there won't be many comin' home
C C7 F D7
Oh, there won't be many, maybe five out of twenty
C G C
But there won't be many comin' home
[Verse 3]

Look real closely at the soldier coming at you through the haze
C G
He may be the younger brother who ran away
C F G
And before you kill another, listen to what I say
[Chorus]
C F
Oh, there won't be many comin' home
C F
Oh, there won't be many comin' home
C C7 F D7
Oh, there won't be many, there may not be any
C G
But there won't be many comin' home
C C7 F D7
If they all came back but one, it was still some mother's son
C G C
And there won't be many comin' home
C F
Oh, there won't be many comin' home
C F
Oh, there won't be many comin' home
C F
Oh, there won't be many comin' home

This was great, thank you, I've been able to learn the song from this. If I had any critism though it would be that the effort to add the tabs to the 2nd verse would have really helped me as a complete beginner. You are also missing the last chorus change "there may not be any". Great stuff though, cheers
