Hello everyone,
this is my first time writing a tab. I was a little frustrated with how the other tabs were butchering this
awesome song: ignoring technique and even notes too (its not hard to learn, but because it is so emotional,
technique is key).
Since it would have been too tedious to comment repeatedly on the other tabs, I hope you all may gain
enjoyment playing through mine. This tab is absolutely 100% correct, however it is still a work in progress
since only half the song is actually tabbed. Because the "how to" in this song is so important, i decided to
emphasize on things like "slow bends, staccato, and rhythm (demonstrated with the distancing of the notes)".
If you are just starting out with this tab, you should ignore these as it will only get in the way.
Ideally, you guys can also listen to the song and figure it out from there.

Change the amp to something jazzy with a little sexy funk. Keep in mind that Santana wrote this song for his
woman. This part gets pretty emotional, so it's perfectly okay to cry a little while you play...
On a more serious note, technique and your emotion is actually going to make a big difference.It may seem easy
but the timing and staccato is a little tricky to master. "8 slide to 10" is how i like to play it since i do
not have Santana's equipment, but in the studio version, it is a hammer-on. Fortunately, it is not significant
