Instead of a full F chord you can just use an F note only. I really don't miss the F chord that much anyway if I don't play it, because the F note/F chord is kind of played fast anyway. I have the official Santana songbook, and they do use an F though between the Am and E7. Cheers. God Bless You.

thats a bit rough they're just missing an F in between the am7 and em7...check out version 1
