During the instrumental where you play 4 bars of Em, I noticed it sounds a bit like the song if you start off with Em7 and then add/hammer on the third finger after the first strum of Em7 to make it Em. I guess you can also do the same thing with the Cmaj7 chord by lifting/hammering on the middle finger :)

Based on the recorded song, I think the instrumel bit is: Am, B7, Em, D (x 2) then it's Em, Em, Em, Em and then Cmaj7, Am, Em, Em [then final chorus]
