i always thought it was A -> D in the intro/verse/chorus, however it doesn't make too much of a difference to D -> G, you can play it in whatever key. Nice tab overall

The song is definitely D to G. There are a bunch of tabs that are decent for the verse. There's a lot of little variations on the picking in the verse that would be impossible to tab out completely. See some of the higher rated tabs for info on this stuff.
