     no need to emphasize the sliding, it's mainly here just for flow

At first I thought this was a punk downstroking type of verse, but then
I heard a better quality version of the song and was shocked.  You can add
the octave to the sliding chords if you want, but this sounds fine as is.

You can transpose the above to the 2nd fret of the D string
(rather than the 7th of the A string) for a subtly "sharper"
sound, but IMO, that doesn't seem like the correct place
for a run like this.  This lick is a good pinky exercise. ;)

WTF?! This song is not in Drop-D you lamers. Everything in here is perfect except for the section that is first played at 0:11. He has the notes E, C, E, C. It should really be E, C, E, C, Bb. Check it out. Other than that, this is one of the better tabs on this site. ;)
