Tame Impala - Wander
                        from their 2008 self-titled EP

Intro - the first note in this riff is actually an octave lower, but I've tabbed it
in standard tuning for simplicity. To get that low octave, just tune the low E string
to D and then play the open string:
e|--------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------|
G|----------------4--5--4h5p4---4-| x4
D|----------4h5h7-------------7---|
A|-5----4h5-----------------------|
E|----7---------------------------|

Verse:
"Save your fragile mama's heart,
And though she will come for you,
But I wander"
e|--------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------|
G|----------------4--5--4h5p4---4-| x7
D|----------4h5h7-------------7---|
A|-5----4h5-----------------------|
E|----7---------------------------|

Pre-chorus:
e|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|----7-5-4----------7.-7--|
D|----------7-5-4----7.-7--|
A|-5--------------7--5.-5--|
E|-------------------------|

Chorus:
"And I wonder,
Just how far will you need to be,
For shaking talk so easily,
For hours on end I wander,
Still I don't even..."
e|-------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9-------| x4
D|-9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9-----4h6p4-----9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9--7.-7-|
A|-9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9--4.-------6---7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7--7.-7-|
E|-7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7---------------------------------5.-5-|

Then play this chord:
"...know her"
e|-2----2----|
B|-2----2----|
G|-2---------|
D|-X---------|
A|-0---------|
E|-----------|

Verse:
"Feel just like I need to be,
Back where I was,
Before I couldn't do that,
And I wander"
e|--------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------|
G|----------------4--5--4h5p4---4-| x7
D|----------4h5h7-------------7---|
A|-5----4h5-----------------------|
E|----7---------------------------|

Pre-chorus:
e|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|----7-5-4----------7.-7--|
D|----------7-5-4----7.-7--|
A|-5--------------7--5.-5--|
E|-------------------------|

Chorus:
"And I wonder,
Just how far will you need to be,
For shaking talk so easily,
For hours on end I wander,
Still I don't even know"
e|-------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9-------| x4
D|-9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9-----4h6p4-----9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9--7.-7-|
A|-9-9-9-9-9--9-9-9--4.-------6---7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7--7.-7-|
E|-7-7-7-7-7--7-7-7---------------------------------5.-5-|

Studio banter:
One guitar quietly keeps playing the chorus progression.
"Jay: What were you saying?
Kevin: [laughing] That was like, the worst cymbal ever.
Jay: I don't understand what you're trying to tell me.
Kevin: Sounds like...pubic hair.
Jay: [laughing] You could have waited!
*Jay plays loud drum fill on cymbals*
Kevin: What, Gumby?
Jay: I said, I'm sick of you taking over.
Kevin: Oh.
Jay: I want to record the drums on all our albums, alright? [Kevin laughs] Modular?
Hear that?"

Man, I just want to say: you're the best! You tabbed out Tame Impala's less known stuff AND Mac Demarco! I love you man! Didn't know there was someone who liked both of them! Again, thank you!

Dude I love your tabs especially the Innerspeaker ones but I am 100% sure the main riff in this song goes like this: e|--------------------------------| B|--------------------------------| G|----------------4--5--4h5p4---4-| x4 D|----------4h5h7-------------7---| A|-5----4h5-----------------------| E|----7---------------------------| Try it out and play along with the song and you'll find its fits perfect and corresponds with the pre-chorus riff musically: e|----------------------| B|----------------------| G|-7-5-4----------7.-7--| D|-------7-5-4----7.-7--| A|-------------7--5.-5--| E|----------------------| Anyway great tab keep them coming bro.

Thanks man! It's great to hear that people are getting some use out of my obsessive tabbing of songs that I love.:p I take it from your username, and the fact that you like Tame Impala, that you also like Mink Mussel Creek? Because I have a tab of Makeout Party Girls currently awaiting approval, which should be up in the next week or so. I also plan to tab out all of Tame Impala's demos, plus 'Remember Me'. Then I might get started on Lonerism (which will take ages to do considering all the dense layers of guitar and synths on that album!). If you have any tab requests I could give them a shot if you want?
