Hey there everyone, this is my first official tab done by ear. I do not feel it
is 100% correct yet but I do feel it is really damn close, just some minor
things that may be off a touch, and since no one has tabbed this badass
Introduction song to Testaments album (The Formation of Damnation) I thought
I would help everyone out. I feel this is at least a good place to start for
someone with more experience than me to complete it with a more accurate sound
I guess. I am sorry I have not figured out the background soloing yet, I will
update this tab when I have figured that part out, but as for now I present you
with a kickass riff that will have your neighbors bangin their heads. Please
feel free to comment, anything I can do to help improve this is more than
welcome. Thanks for the feedback and have fun.
P.S. Throw a nice bit of reverb on and it sounds even better.

This tab is good, but there is one mistake. You have it here as going F#, E, E, Eb, Eb with the chords at the end of the melodies. This isn't quite right, it should be F#, E, Db, Eb. If you played this in Db tuning and played frets 5, 3, 0, 2, 2, it would sound awesome and more like the original.
I also think the original played these chords except F# an octave higher with a low 5th added in. You play this by playing power chords on the Ab string at 8, 5 and 7, with your 1st finger barring the 8, 5 and 7 frets on the Eb string as you play. This sounds most like the original to me.
Other than that, great tab! It's a really awesome melody and opening to the album. I've tried to be constructive with my criticism and suggest alternate ways to play it that sound more like the original. I gave it a 4/5 rating.

Hi, I realy like you tabs, I feel like its very accurate, don`t you mind if i rework it with all timings and upload to songsterr, so people can play along with them! I will at least try.
