[Intro]
G D G

[Verse]
G D G
I'm a fisherman's son got fisherman's ways
  G D G
I fished with my father in my young days
  G F C Am
I learned the fine craft of the fisherman's trade
        G D G G D G
Just to pass to my son so he'll do the same

I stared at the bright lights the dark city ways
              G D G
I'll tell you that's not for me, no I didn't stay

The chord progression for the Chorus doesn't work. I tried to play it and I don't think it should be what is there for the first part of the chorus.

D C GLa la, la la la la, D A DLa la la la la la laI think this is correct in CAPO 4. Sing the la's and change chords exactly at the la indicated above.

The first part of the chorus is incorrect; it should be played: G F C La La La La La La Then the last 'La's are fine.
