Got it from watching the Live on KEXP version.
Only 2 unusual chords are Dm6 and G/Ab. He plays them like this:

        Dm6 G/Ab
e |----1---------x---|
b |----0---------x---|
g |----2---------4---|
D |----0---------5---|
A |----x---------5---|
G |----x---------4---|

You can play the G/Ab with the top two strings open and it sounds really nice.
That's how Connor does it.

[Intro]
F C Am C
Am C G G

[Verse 1]
F C
The bus was late
Am C
And forced us all to congregate
Am C
Twenty-seven strangers
        G
Made to stand and wait

F C
The time went by
Am C
The sun went down, a baby cried
Am C G
I just stood in line

This is where it changes each verse, leading into the chorus bit with the high vocals

Dm6 Am
But there is no cue
C F
No stage hand saying what to do
G
And you are me
G/Ab
And I am you

[Chorus]
F C Am C
Am C G G

F C
The bus it came
Am C
And everybody loaded in
Am C
Twenty-seven strangers
G
In a moving can

F C
The fluorescent light
Am C
Doubled everyone inside
Am C
The baby's face reflected
G
In the shopfronts in the sky

Dm6 Am
But faces change
C F
And rules they all get rearranged
G
And photographs
G/Ab
All fade away

F C
The bus broke down
Am C
At the graveyard on the edge of town
Am C
Twenty-seven strangers
G
Separate without a sound

F C
So I walked home
Am C
Just feeling nothing on my own
Am C
Noticing that tree of yours
G
I've been watching it grow

Dm6 Am
So that's why I'm late
C F
My dearest one what can I say
Am C
And tomorrow it could be the same
G
When I do it all again

Instead of the G/Ab you could keep the tuning standard and play a G/E7 (320100). Sound pretty close the the recording
