Colder Weather – Zac Brown Band
Tabbed by Shelby! This is my second one I think and I’m very proud of it! Let me
know if you think it needs changes.

Standard Tuning
Capo on 1

Intro: Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Em D

	     Cadd9 D G
She'd trade Colorado if he'd take her with him
            Cadd9 D G
Closes the door before the winter lets the cold in,
    Cadd9 G D Em
And wonders if her love is strong enough to make him stay,
      D G
She's answered by the tail lights
        Cadd9 G
Shining through the window pane

[Chorus:]
                Cadd9 G
He said I wanna see you again
        Cadd9 G
But I'm stuck in colder weather
        Cadd9 G
Maybe tomorrow will be better
       D
Can I call you then
                Cadd9 G
She said you're ramblin' man
          Cadd9 G
You ain't ever gonna change
          Cadd9 G
You gotta gypsy soul to blame
                      D
And you were born for leavin'

     Cadd9 D G
At a truck stop diner just outside of Lincoln,
    Cadd9 D G
The night is black as the coffee he was drinkin',
     Cadd9 G D Em
And in the waitress' eyes he sees the same 'ol light shinin',
   D G
He thinks of Colorado
        Cadd9 G
And the girl he left behind him

[Chorus:]
                Cadd9 G
He said I wanna see you again
        Cadd9 G
But I'm stuck in colder weather
        Cadd9 G
Maybe tomorrow will be better
       D
Can I call you then
                Cadd9 G
She said you're ramblin' man
          Cadd9 G
You ain't ever gonna change
          Cadd9 G
You gotta gypsy soul to blame
                        D
And you were born for leavin' (born for leavin')

	     Cadd9 G
Well it's a winding road
	  D Em
When your in the lost and found
         Cadd9 G
You're a lover I'm a runner
       D
We go 'round 'n 'round
      Cadd9 G
And I love you but I leave you
        Cadd9 G
I don't want you but I need you
    C G D
You know it's you who calls me back here babe

Instrumental Break/Solo Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Cadd9 G Em D

        Cadd9 G
But I'm stuck in colder weather
        Cadd9 G
Maybe tomorrow will be better
       D
Can I call you then
            Cadd9 G
Cuz I'm a ramblin' man
          Cadd9 G
I ain't ever gonna change
          Cadd9 G
I gotta gypsy soul to blame
                     G
And I was born for leavin'

	    Cadd9 G
And when I close my eyes I see you
    Cadd9 G
No matter where I am
       Cadd9 G D
I can smell your perfume through these whispering pines
              Cadd9 G
I'm with your ghost again
       Cadd9 G
It's a shame about the weather
       Cadd9 G
I know soon we'll be together
             D
And I can't wait till then
         Cadd9 G
I can't wait till then

I really like this! I tried the original key on a different tab and it was awkward at times for my female voice, this key works better :)

Hey, Shelby. I was just playing this, and I think that in the last two lines of verses where you have the chords as being D G Cadd9 G it is actually the reverse of that, being Cadd9 G D G for those chords. I think that it sounds better that way. :)
