"Cheap Sunglasses" by ZZ Top

Tuning: E A D G B d
This song uses a dropped D on the 1st string.

I learned this from Robert Baker's YouTube Channel. His lesson can be found here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R8Auq2e7CM

All of this is evident if you watch Billy Gibbons on live recordings or have been lucky enough
to see them in person. It's also evident if you listen to the song closely.

The change to dropped first-D allows you to barre the first three strings to do the main signature riffs.

These two measure actually call for some weird bending
you might want to experiment with.

You are now back to the beginning themes. Play them for the 3rd verse and
then the final solo comes in with LOTS of muted stuff.

I don't have time to correct this, but check out Ver 2. The intro and verse are closer to what Billy is actually playing. He's not playing power chords. If you listen closely you can hear a D ringing at the top of the chord for the first part and a G on top for the second part. Those are most likely played with the open 4 and 3 string with fingers (listen close, it's not picked). He's probably using a pick to play the lower notes (they sound picked).
