Title: Happy ever After
E tuning & capo on 2nd fret.
This was quick and easy to tab. People have been asking for this for a while, so here it
from my perspective. Keep in mind to try to accent the moving bass notes to bring out
changing chords, cause it can be easy to miss if you strum top-heavy. Enjoy and please

(verse)
Let me [1]riddle you a ditty, it's just an [2]itty bitty, little [3]thing on my mind.[4]
About a [1]boy and a girl, trying to [2]take on the world one [3]kiss at a time.[4]
Now the [1]funny thing about, ain't a story with[2]out it, but the [3]story is mine[4].
And I [1]wish you could say[2], that it [3]ended just fine.[4]
[2]We all [1]want to know[3], how it ends.
(chorus)
[1]Oh, happily [3]ever after[4], wouldn't you know[2], wouldn't you know.
[1]Oh, skip to the [3]ending,[4] who'd like to know, I'd like[2] to know.
[1]Author of the [3]moment,[4] can you tell[2] me, [1]do I[3] end up, [4]do I [2]end up happy?
[1] [3] [3]
Inhale, breathe steady... (repeat verse)
[2]We all [1]want to know[3], how it ends.
Oh, happily ever after... (repeat chorus)
[5] [6] [3]
We [5]all have a [6]story to[3] tell.
[5]Whether we [6]whisper or[3] yell.
We [5]all have a [6]story, of [3]adolescence and all it's glory.
We [5]all have a [6]story to [3]tell.
Oh, happily ever after... (repeat chorus)
[5] [6] [3]
We [5]all have a [6]story to [3]tell. 4x & fade
Heres the higher, more melodic part during the ending and when she says "we all have a
to tell".

How to play

I'm sooo confused! I'm not sure these chords make sense. Perhaps I'm reading them wrong? But its physically impossible to have one finger on the 2nd fret and another on the 13th. Is there some sliding involved?
+1

with capo on 2nd:
042400
024400
002400
022400
and then instead of those chords 5 and 6 use:
079900-->099900-->007900

well guitargirlie*93, maybe you could actually read this, use your brain, and learn to play it. I used this method of tabbing so that I wouldn't have to blow my brains on the wall from frustration. There is no tablature aside from the higher melody portion, which cannot be written in chord form. I personally wrote out the chords because I dont trust UG to represent that a capo is needed.
And another thing, you could just learn the chords, listen to the song and place them by ear.
Sincerely, Shreddykickflip
P.S. -- Stop whining.
