(If you are in a rush the tabs are on the bottom*)
Capo on whichever fret works for your voice.
-when you pick it's easier if you hold your fingers the way the chords are.
The pattern the chords are played in the song:
C, G, F, C, G and repeated over and over
Practice singing and just playing chords (not picking!) to the song so you can
understand the rythym
before attempting to pick.

Good stuff; I really like the format you used to show the changes with the vocals! The F chord works and sounds great, although I would suggest voicing it like this, which I think is how he does it in the song (I'm using the Postal Service EP version-- other recordings might be different):
e-------|
B---0---|
G---0---|
D---0---|
A---3---|
E---1---|
You can definitely hear that open B (rather than a C) on top of the chord. This is technically an F6/9#11, or I guess a G7add11/F. Basically, it sounds like a G major triad (2nd inversion) on top of an F power chord. Also, I think the original capo position is 6th fret, making the chords F#, C#, and B6/9#11. Sorry for all the theory; I'm just really into chord extensions these days.

breaking up the lyrics with the chords like you did in the first part is the most important part.. then you stopped ;(
