[Intro]
G D/F# Em D F#
[Verse 1]
Bm E7 G D F#
When she was 22 the future looked bright
Bm E7 G D Em D F#
But she's nearly 30 now and she's out every night
Bm E7 G D F#
I see that look in her face she's got that look in her eye
Bm E7 G D Em D
She's thinking how did I get here and wondering why
[Chorus]
Em Bm A
It's sad but it's true how society says
G D/F#
Her life is already over
Em D A
There's nothing to do and there's nothing to say
Em Bm
Until the man of her dreams comes along,
A G D/F#
picks her up and puts her over his shoulder
Em D A
It seems so unlikely in this day and age
[Verse 2]
Bm E7 G D F#
She's got an alright job but it's not a career
Bm E7 G D Em D F#
Whenever she thinks about it, it brings her to tears

'Cause all she wants is a boyfriend
G D F#
She gets one-night stands
Bm E7
She's thinking how did I get here
G D Em D
I'm doing all that I can
[Chorus]
Em Bm A
It's sad but it's true how society says
G D/F#
Her life is already over
Em D A
There's nothing to do and there's nothing to say
Em Bm
Until the man of her dreams comes along,
A G D/F#
picks her up and puts her over his shoulder
Em D A
It seems so unlikely in this day and age
[Bridge]
Bm E7 G D A/C#
Bm E7 G D/F#

Great !
I'm still struggling with the G D Em D Gb part because I don't get the rhythm. Can somebody help me with it ?

Beautiful, amazing job :)

I think that in the verse, the E7's could be a normal E's and the F#'s at the end of the lines could be an F#7's. What do you think?
Also, I added another correction to add in the bridge but for some reason the 2 lines of chords have switched round. It should be the same chords as the first 2 lines of the verses. Could you do an edit and switch them back round please? Rather than me putting in another correction. Cheers
