This is the version of A Song for Ernest Hemingway off of the Burst and Decay EP. It's a mildly stripped down version of what Casey plays, meaning it doesn't contain some of the runs he does because I'm a little to lazy to figure them out(if you are less lazy, contact me with it and I'll add it). I play this by finger-picking but Casey uses a pick, so whatever works for you, regardless, when you play you should hold the shape of the chord. Also any chord marked with a 5 is a power chord, everything else is an open chord. If you want to play Matt's part, just play the chords without picking them. Chords are relative to placement on the neck as if it were in standard.¿Te ha sido útil esta información?

I still get phantom pains but from a safer distance

Or strum the chords

A5 B5
I'll be your dead bird, you'll be my bloodhound
E
You're just doing what you're told

Pick my body off the ground
A5
I'll be your dead bird
B5
Hanging from your mouth
E
You're doing like you're told

Gonna make your master proud
A5
It's good to know
B5
I didn’t die for nothing

[Outro]

E A B5 C#5
December’s got me backed into a corner again
                  F#m5
My ears are back, my teeth are showing
E A B5 C#5

                          F#m5 E
I still get phantom pains but I didn't die for nothing.
