[Chorus]
E
Well the only thing I need to pack
Bsus2/F#
Is a guitar on my back
C#m
With a suitcase filled with clothes
A
Only god knows where I'll go
E
A goodbye kiss goes a long ways
Bsus2/F#
Explaining more than my words can say
C#m
She fakes a soft smile behind the tears
A
As I leave the driveway and disappear
[Verse]
E
Cause these dreams that I've been chasing
Bsus2/F#
Ain't the ones you believe in
C#m Bsus2/F# A
You needs a man who's there when you breakdown
C#m Bsus2/F# A
Not a kid who's just travelin' through town
[Chorus]
E
From the same smell of an old cigar
Bsus2/F#
To playing every night in a different bar
C#m
Making good money comes with a cost
A
And sometimes it ain't worth the loss
E
But she waits by the phone
Bsus2/F#
And I'm a fool for leaving her all alone
C#m
I can hear her prayers from miles away
A
Don't worry darlin' it'll be okay
[Verse]
E
Cause these dreams that I've been chasing
Bsus2/F#

Before you get attacked by everyone new looking to learn this song, I think you misnamed the verse and chorus lol. "Cause these dreams that I've been chasing..." is the chorus not a verse
+1

This tab is correct, the other one is wrong. He clearly slides his hands up to play the C#m on the 4th fret. I would add that he does not play his pinky on the G string on the C#m either, just a style note.
